Senior Data Analyst, Insights

Location: Canary Wharf, London Business Unit: Global Financial Services (GFS) Vacancy Type: Permanent Working Hours: 9am–5.30pm GMT (Hybrid: 3 days onsite)

About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst within CSC Global Financial Services (GFS)’s Insights team will lead the delivery of analytics solutions critical for strategic decision-making across the business. This hands-on, high-impact role requires expertise in BI platforms and SQL, coupled with leadership skills to influence stakeholders and drive data governance standards.


Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Lead complex, cross-functional data analyses to uncover strategic insights for commercial, operational, and financial decision-making in Capital Markets.
  • Independently scope, design, and deliver analytics projects—from requirements gathering to executive presentations—with minimal supervision.

Dashboard & Reporting Architecture

  • Architect, build, and govern a suite of Domo dashboards and reports for Leadership, Commercial, Product Operations, and Finance, ensuring scalability, performance, and accuracy.
  • Define and enforce dashboard standards, naming conventions, and best practices across the Insights team.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Define and enforce data quality standards, validation frameworks, and reconciliation processes for all analytics outputs.
  • Document data definitions, lineage, and business logic to support audit readiness and team scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to senior stakeholders across Product Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Leadership, translating complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives.
  • Drive alignment on analytics priorities, manage competing stakeholder requests, and effectively communicate timelines and trade-offs.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • 4–7 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven record of leading analytics projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in financial services, capital markets, or fund administration is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in Domo, including:
    • DataFlows
    • Beast Mode
    • Domo Everywhere
    • Connector management (Power BI or Tableau can be considered in lieu.)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Data warehousing concepts
    • ETL pipelines
    • Enterprise data integration (preferably with SAP, NetSuite, or Denodo).
  • Ability to present complex data findings clearly to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated project ownership with bandwidth to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise tasks, and deliver without heavy oversight.
