Senior Data Analyst
Senior Data Analyst Global Financial Services (GFS) – Permanent Location: Canary Wharf, London Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM GMT (Hybrid: 3 days onsite)
About the Role
The Senior Data Analyst within CSC Global Financial Services (GFS)'s Insights team will spearhead analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the business. This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring expertise in BI platforms (e.g., Domo) and SQL, coupled with leadership skills to influence stakeholders, shape data governance standards, and deliver data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate will:
- Own complex analytics projects from conception to executive presentation with minimal oversight.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Capital Markets, Finance, and Product Operations.
- Champion data quality, governance, and standardisation across dashboards and reports.
- Help transition insights into AI-powered solutions with emerging tools like Agentic AI in Domo.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
- Lead strategic, cross-functional analyses to shape revenue, operational, and financial decisions.
- Independently scope, design, and deliver prototypes to end-to-end execution—minimal oversight required.
- Convert raw data into actionable narratives for commercial and leadership teams.
Dashboard & Reporting Architecture
- Design, build, and govern a scalable suite of Domo dashboards for Leadership, Commercial, Product Operations, and Finance.
- Define dashboard standards, naming conventions, and widespread adoption of best practices.
- Optimise dashboards for performance, data accuracy, and usability.

Data Quality & Governance
- Establish and enforce data validation frameworks and reconciliation processes.
- Document data lineage, definitions, and business logic for auditability and scalability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Serve as the go-to analytics partner for non-technical stakeholders, distilling complexity into clear strategies.
- Prioritise conflicting demands, balance timelines, and communicate trade-offs effectively.
- Foster alignment on analytics roadmaps and validate decisions with data.
Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of progressive expertise in:
- Data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Leading end-to-end analytics projects in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- Strong preference for candidates with financial services, capital markets, or fund administration experience.
- Technical Proficient in:
- Domo (DataFlows, Beast Mode, Domo Everywhere) or Power BI / Tableau as alternate.
- SQL for reporting/ETL.
- Data warehousing concepts (SAP, NetSuite; experience with Denodo a plus).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional storytelling for non-technical/executive audiences.
- Strong project ownership, prioritisation, and multi-stream capacity.
- Stakeholder influence and effective cross-team collaboration.
