Our team is composed of talented professionals who are passionate about transforming the financial landscape and delivering exceptional value to our customers worldwide.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Growth and Strategic Finance Team based in London. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing actionable insights through data analysis, which will directly influence strategic decision-making and drive our continued growth. As part of our dynamic team, you will work on curating datasets, developing metrics, and performing statistical modeling to understand key drivers of business performance. Your expertise will help us measure the impact of marketing and product initiatives, analyze customer segments, and identify growth opportunities at both regional and global levels. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment where data-driven insights are at the core of our success.

Qualifications

Proficiency in SQL is essential, along with familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. A solid understanding of statistical methods and modeling techniques is required, complemented by excellent data visualization and storytelling skills to communicate insights effectively. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to self-organize, manage stakeholders, and deliver impactful results beyond basic role expectations. A background in data warehousing, data modeling, and experience with testing and experimental design are desirable. Legally, applicants must be authorized to work in the UK, as Wise does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
