Senior Data Analyst

About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Customers Finance) – someone who can turn complex financial data into actionable insights, driving data integrity and business decisions. If you enjoy working with large datasets, influencing strategy, and making a real impact, this role is for you. At EDF, Success is Personal – your impact starts here.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and robust financial data across our systems and reporting. Your insights will empower decision-making and improve performance as we progress towards An Electric Britain.

This is a hybrid role, offering:

  • A competitive salary with annual bonus potential
  • Flexibility with regular travel to our #London office (Victoria location)
  • A mix of homeworking and in-person collaboration

You’ll tackle high-impact data challenges across billing, revenue, and debt, supporting key areas like financial control and assurance. From detailed analytics to refining data quality frameworks, you’ll help strengthen the data foundations that drive performance.

Who You Are

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll thrive in a role that demands:

  • Strong SQL skills, with experience handling large, complex, production-scale datasets
  • Confidence working with imperfect datasets, using investigation and logic to improve them
  • Ability to design data validation, reconciliation, or control processes
  • Previous exposure to financial, billing, or operational data (e.g., revenue, transactions)
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link data insights to financial outcomes
  • Experience managing multiple analytical tasks and prioritising effectively
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to present data politely, concisely, and actionably for decision-makers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
