Senior Data Analyst / Senior Power BI Developer
Permanent
Location: London Based, up to once a week onsite
Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE
Our client, a fast-growing tech scale-up in the life sciences and clinical research space, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst with deep Power BI expertise to own their enterprise Power BI reporting landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions: semantic models, reports, dashboards
- Build scalable data models (star schema, Kimball methodology) and advanced DAX measures
- Use Power Query (M) for data transformation
- Optimise report/dataset performance and manage deployment across environments
- Implement governance standards (naming conventions, documentation, RLS)
- Validate data via SQL and translate business requirements into BI solutions across Finance, HR, R&D and other teams

What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in Data Analytics / BI, with proven Power BI delivery in production
- Advanced Power BI (data modelling, DAX) and advanced SQL
- Experience with enterprise data warehouses, medallion architecture, Kimball methodology
- Strong grasp of BI performance optimisation
- Microsoft Fabric familiarity (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Good to Have
- Azure/AWS/GCP experience
- Power BI deployment pipelines and governance experience
- Python/R scripting
- Power BI or Fabric certifications
