Senior Data & Performance Officer

9-month contract | Hybrid – 2 days per week in Bristol

A public sector organisation leading net zero and clean energy delivery across the South West is looking for a Senior Data & Performance Officer to join a newly formed Regional Delivery Team on an initial 9-month contract.

This is a data and analytics role at the heart of a nationally significant programme. You'll turn complex data into clear, compelling evidence that shapes strategy, guides decision-making and demonstrates the real-world impact of energy and net zero projects to senior stakeholders, including central government and the programme board.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and delivering high-quality quantitative and qualitative analysis to guide strategic and operational priorities
  • Building and developing a CRM system (PowerApps / Dynamics 365), and training managers and teams to get the most from it
  • Creating and maintaining an impactful project performance dashboard to track key programme indicators
  • Leading GIS mapping projects to bring regional data to life
  • Automating processes and reporting to improve efficiency across teams
  • Acting as the team's data champion and information asset custodian, ensuring all data is managed in line with GDPR
  • Building strong relationships with local and national partners, and representing the organisation on a cross-regional data working group

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
