Role: Data Solution Architect
Location: London Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £95,000 + excellent benefits
We're working with a well-established UK technology business investing heavily in its data and digital capabilities. As part of that growth, we're looking for an experienced Data Solution Architect to help shape the future of its enterprise data landscape.
This is a true architecture role. You'll be responsible for designing scalable, secure and resilient data solutions, working closely with engineering, product and business stakeholders to ensure data platforms and integrations support long-term business objectives. This isn't a hands-on engineering role, but you'll need enough technical depth to challenge designs, guide delivery teams and make sound architectural decisions.

- Design end-to-end data architectures across cloud and enterprise environments
- Define solution patterns for data integration, governance, analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable
- Support the evolution of modern data platforms and architecture standards
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Provide architectural governance and technical leadership across multiple initiatives
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Data Solution Architect, Enterprise Data Architect or Senior Data Architect
- Strong understanding of Azure data technologies, including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks and Azure SQL
- Experience designing modern data platforms, data lakes and data warehouses
- Knowledge of data modelling, integration patterns and API based architectures
- Strong understanding of data governance, security and compliance
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
