PostgreSQL Data Architect (CDC) | 6 Month Contract

We're looking for a senior Data Architect to lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-scale PostgreSQL data platforms on AWS, with deep Change Data Capture and real-time integration expertise. This role centres on migrating legacy DB2/mainframe systems into Aurora PostgreSQL, with full ownership of CDC strategy, data modelling, and cutover governance.

What you'll need
- Deep CDC design and operations experience (IBM, Precisely, or equivalent)
- DB2 and z/OS knowledge: catalog, batch windows, mainframe fundamentals
- Strong PostgreSQL/Aurora data modelling and architecture experience
- Kafka-based integration pipeline experience with Python/SQL
- Solid data architecture fundamentals: normalization, DDD, event-driven design, CQRS
