Data Architect (Manager) – Data & AI
Location: UK Wide (Remote First)
Salary: Up to £120,000 + Bonus

We're working with a leading digital consultancy that delivers some of the UK's most complex and high-profile transformation programmes across the Public Sector and Healthcare.
Due to continued growth within their Data & AI practice, they're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a highly collaborative team delivering enterprise-scale data solutions using modern cloud technologies.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful projects, influence technical direction, and mentor high-performing teams while remaining hands-on with architecture and client delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Data Architect, you'll work closely with clients to understand complex business challenges and design scalable, secure, and future-proof data solutions.

You'll be responsible for:
- Leading data architecture across complex transformation programmes
- Designing modern data platforms, data models, and enterprise data solutions
- Defining data architecture, governance, standards, and best practice
- Advising clients on technology selection and architecture strategy
- Providing technical leadership across delivery teams
- Mentoring and coaching consultants within the Data practice
- Working with both technical and senior business stakeholders throughout project delivery
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience working for a consultancy
- Strong experience delivering Data Architecture within the UK Public Sector or Healthcare
- Excellent knowledge of:
- Data Modelling
- Data Migration
- Data Transformation
- Metadata Management
- Master Data Management
- Experience establishing Data Governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience
- Technical leadership experience across large-scale data programmes
- Experience with multiple modern data technologies and cloud platforms
- Experience mentoring or leading technical teams

Desirable
- Enterprise Data Architecture experience
- Data Lake architecture experience
- Information handling models and capacity planning
- Experience selecting enterprise data technologies and platforms
