Data Architect (Manager) – Data & AI

Location: UK Wide (Remote First)
Salary: Up to £120,000 + Bonus
Security Clearance: Must be SC Eligible or Active SC Cleared
Interview Process: 2 Stages

We're working with a leading digital consultancy that delivers some of the UK's most complex and high-profile transformation programmes across the Public Sector and Healthcare.

Due to continued growth within their Data & AI practice, they're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a highly collaborative team delivering enterprise-scale data solutions using modern cloud technologies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful projects, influence technical direction, and mentor high-performing teams while remaining hands-on with architecture and client delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Data Architect, you'll work closely with clients to understand complex business challenges and design scalable, secure, and future-proof data solutions.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading data architecture across complex transformation programmes
  • Designing modern data platforms, data models, and enterprise data solutions
  • Defining data architecture, governance, standards, and best practice
  • Advising clients on technology selection and architecture strategy
  • Providing technical leadership across delivery teams
  • Mentoring and coaching consultants within the Data practice
  • Working with both technical and senior business stakeholders throughout project delivery

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience working for a consultancy
  • Strong experience delivering Data Architecture within the UK Public Sector or Healthcare
  • Excellent knowledge of:
    • Data Modelling
    • Data Migration
    • Data Transformation
    • Metadata Management
    • Master Data Management
  • Experience establishing Data Governance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience
  • Technical leadership experience across large-scale data programmes
  • Experience with multiple modern data technologies and cloud platforms
  • Experience mentoring or leading technical teams
