Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Centre Construction Role
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure continues to expand its global footprint and scale its cloud regions. The Data Centre Construction organisation is responsible for delivering world-class projects, ensuring OCI capacity is deployed with speed, quality, safety, and operational excellence, commissioning, and handover to operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Interrogate project and commissioning schedules to identify critical path risks and protect milestone dates
- Identify opportunities to expedite project delivery and reduce CAPEX costs without compromising quality or operational resilience
- Identify technical, operational, and delivery risks and implement mitigation plans
- Manage construction-stage change to minimise impact on cost and programme delivery
- Oversee construction activities, commissioning, and compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.
- Support commissioning readiness and integrated systems testing activities
- Oversee commissioning process and identify, report and mitigate associated risks
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of Data Centre construction pricing, contractor delivery models, and supply chain dynamics.
- Maintains effective working relationships across contractors, vendors, manufacturers, and commissioning partners to support successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading data centre construction/fit out projects with direct accountability for schedule, budget, and delivery.
- Successful track record managing contractors, construction partners, and internal engineering/operations teams.
- Strong risk management, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment with high ownership and urgency.
