Senior Data Consultant
Central London location – 3-5 days on site p/week Up to £65k DoE plus bonuses Active MoD DV clearance required Experience required in Python, SQL, and ideally Palantir
Overview Our client is a secure-sector SME consultancy based in Central London who are looking to bring an experienced Security Cleared Data Engineer into their growing technical team. You will be working on sensitive, mission-critical programmes, designing and delivering robust data solutions in a highly regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer who enjoys working in small, high-impact teams, close customer-facing consultancy, and wants exposure to modern data platforms and tooling.

Required Skills & Experience Proven commercial experience as a Data/Software Engineer/Consultant Strong development skills in Python Advanced SQL skills with experience working on complex datasets Experience with core data engineering tools and technologies (e.g. ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, orchestration tools) Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality, and performance optimisation

Desirable Experience Experience with Palantir (Foundry, Gotham) Willingness and aptitude to learn Palantir technologies on the job Background working in defence, government, or other highly regulated environments Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data architectures
