I'm currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global consumer technology marketplace used by millions of customers around the world.
This is an opportunity to join a business that's investing heavily in the reliability, trust, and compliance of its data ecosystem, embedding governance and observability at the heart of how data is built, shared, and consumed across the organization.
You'll lead the design and implementation of frameworks, tools, and processes that strengthen the data foundations - reducing time to detect and resolve data incidents, establishing data contracts between producers and consumers, and driving privacy-by-design across the data lifecycle. If you're passionate about treating data as a product and want to make governance a genuine enabler rather than a blocker, this is a fantastic opportunity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer who enjoys building the frameworks, tooling, and culture that underpin trustworthy, well-governed data at scale.
This is a hands-on senior role where you'll champion the vision for data quality, observability, and governance, working closely with Product Engineering, Data Platform, Analytics, and Legal teams to build confidence in data as a reliable, auditable, and actionable product.

- Deep knowledge of data observability frameworks (Monte Carlo, Soda, or equivalent) and validation tools such as Great Expectations.
- Strong understanding of Data Products principles and experience applying them to improve data reliability and ownership.
- Experience designing and enforcing data contracts and quality SLAs in distributed data ecosystems.
