🚨 2x Senior Data Engineer Contract Opportunities 🚨
I'm partnering with a leading global insurance organisation to hire 2x Senior Data Engineers for an exciting greenfield data transformation programme.
- Location: Fully Remote (UK only)
- Rate: £475-£500 a day
- Duration: 6-month contract (Should extend for another 6 months)
- Status: Outside IR35
- Start: ASAP
Please note: You must be UK-based and operate via an active Limited Company.
You'll be the go-to Data Engineer within the team, playing a key role in shaping and enhancing a modern Enterprise Data Platform. Working alongside Data Scientists, Business Analysts, Testers and key business stakeholders, you'll provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews and help drive engineering best practices across the function.

Key experience required:
- Strong Data Warehousing background
- GCP Cloud Data Platform experience
- SQL Server, T-SQL & SSIS
- Azure Synapse & Azure Data Factory
- ETL development at enterprise scale
- Data Modelling
- Building scalable data pipelines and cloud-based analytics platforms
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
