We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Senior Data Engineer in our ICT & Digital Transformation department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that's making a real difference in people's lives. The ICT & Digital Transformation department provide enabling digital services that contribute to Karbon Homes mission.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering data related services to the organisation including processing data for reporting & analytics products, data integrations and systems migrations, leading the design, build and maintenance of the team's data related services. They'll act as a positive member of the ICT team, providing the highest possible standard of service to customers.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A strong record of demonstrable achievement in delivering data services
- Knowledge of modern data engineering tools, technologies and practices
- Understanding of data protection and data governance practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills applicable to working with data
- Relevant ICT qualification, or equivalent work experience
- Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Details
Senior Data Engineer - fixed term role (2 years)
- Salary is £60,000 per annum
- Location: Predominantly office based at Gosforth or Stanley and attendance at other Karbon offices may be required. Working from home is available depending on business need
- 37 hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
