Senior Data Engineer

Hybrid – London
£100,000–£120,000 + Benefits

The Business

This is working with a globally recognised travel brand with a rich heritage and a strong international presence.

Despite the challenges faced across the travel sector in recent years, the organisation has continued to achieve some impressive growth year on year and is investing heavily in their tech and data capabilities.

The Role

This is a hands-on Lead Data Engineer combining deep technical expertise with strategic architecture. This may also suit a Lead Data Engineer or Staff Data Engineer - where you are still very technical and want to remain so but involved with architecture and wanting to make a real difference.

You will play a key role in shaping and evolving the organisation's data platform, with an immediate focus on building scalable, modern data architecture capabilities.

Working across architecture, governance, and vendor management, you will help drive the design and delivery of cloud-native, event-driven solutions while establishing standards and best practices across the wider data function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
