A growing IT consultancy delivering cutting-edge data solutions is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team and play a key role in designing and delivering modern data platforms.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong hands-on engineering experience who enjoys working in a client-facing, consulting environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and building scalable data pipelines and platforms
- Working closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Implementing modern data architectures using cloud technologies
- Contributing to best practices across engineering, DevOps, and delivery

Key skills & experience:
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer (or Senior Data Engineer)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience with at least one of: BigQuery, Redshift, or Synapse
- Strong SQL skills
- Exposure to Databricks
- Experience with DevOps / CI/CD practices
- Agile delivery experience
- Previous IT consulting / client-facing experience is essential

Desirable:
- Experience within banking / financial services (expected at higher salary levels)
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture and cloud ecosystems
Education:
- Degree in an IT / technology-related field with a minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent)
Location:
- Hybrid working – London or Manchester office 2–3 days per week
