Senior Data Engineer Location: Remote (UK-based) Salary: Up to £80,000
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing, forward-thinking data team. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern data environment, helping to build and scale a robust data platform that supports both operational and strategic decision-making.
You’ll play a key role in designing and developing data pipelines, shaping data architecture, and enabling the business to unlock the full value of its data.
What You’ll Be Doing Designing and building scalable data pipelines using modern tooling Contributing to the development of a well-structured, layered data architecture (data lake → warehouse → reporting) Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across multiple source systems Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality datasets Troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues Documenting data models, pipelines, and lineage Working within an Agile environment, contributing to sprints and team delivery Sharing knowledge and supporting a collaborative team culture

What We’re Looking For Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer (typically 4–6+ years) Hands-on experience with: Snowflake, DBT (or similar transformation tools) Modern data ingestion tools Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases Experience building and maintaining data pipelines end-to-end Understanding of data modelling concepts (normalised and dimensional) Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred but not essential)
