Senior Data Engineer - London - £90,000/£110,000 + 20% Bonus

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our most exciting customers.

The Role

Working closely with investment teams, you will lead the development of a modern data platform, replacing Excel-based processes with scalable, automated solutions while delivering technology initiatives across the business.

Location: Central London - Onsite (5 days per week)

Salary: £90,000/£110,000 + 20% Bonus

Start Date: ASAP (No longer than 1 month notice)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end data platform architecture, including ingestion, storage, modelling and consumption.
  • Define data governance, lineage, access controls and data quality standards.
  • Convert Excel-based financial and research models into scalable Python solutions.
  • Build reusable analytics for real estate metrics and investment KPIs.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines, scheduling infrastructure and monitoring tools.
  • Drive automation across research, investment, finance and asset management.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered workflows to enhance research and investment processes.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and lead projects from concept through to production.

  • 5+ years' Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong Python, SQL and Snowflake skills.
  • Experience within Private Equity, Investment Banking or Financial Services is highly desirable.
  • Commercial, proactive and confident working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
  • We are looking for candidates with a degree within Engineering, computer science or maths related fields from a Russel Group University.
