About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at YLD, you’ll collaborate with a client team to build cutting-edge products. We’re seeking a candidate who is curious, passionate, driven, and enthusiastic, with a knack for problem-solving to design scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures. You must be an effective communicator, a strong team player, and comfortable thriving in a fast-moving engineering environment.
You’ll deliver outstanding results alongside your peers and be part of challenging, high-impact projects.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in data engineering, including building and deploying data-driven solutions in production
- Proficiency in Python and core data libraries for analysis, modelling, and processing
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques, statistical modelling, and data analysis
- Solid knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases
- Good understanding of data pipelines, data preprocessing, and feature engineering
- Curiosity and openness to collaborating with AI-assisted development tools, experimenting with agentic coding tools and AI-driven workflows for enhanced productivity and quality
- Sharp problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Adoption of AI tools while exercising sound judgement—applying technologies where they genuinely add value and engineering impact
