Senior Data Engineer - £80k-£90k + bonus – London (remote first)

Our client are a globally leading and PE-backed services company, building out a completely greenfield Databricks platform and looking for an experienced Engineer to play a key role in leading and owning this transformation.

Joining a well-established team, you will be a hands-on Data Engineer with a good few years of experience across Databricks, Azure and SQL. Synapse whilst not essential, would be helpful as they are moving away from this.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a technical role, however someone who is keen to collaborate with different teams, help gather user requirements and manage stakeholders would also be a huge plus.

This is a real opportunity to join a very busy team at an exciting point in their journey as they work towards streaming and real-time analytics, AI POC, huge volumes of data and the opportunity to really own a function (with a roadmap in place towards Head of Engineering in place over the next 12-18m), in a company that pride themselves on a strong culture and exceptionally low attrition.
