Senior Data Engineer
£65,000-£70,000 + Bonus
Bristol - 3 days per week in office
PySpark, Databricks, AWS, Kafka
Are you a Senior Data Engineer who enjoys building platforms that process extremely high volumes of real-time data?
Would you like to work for a tech-for-good business, whose products are helping people across the UK?
We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design and build scalable, cloud-based data platforms that process high volumes of real-time data. You'll play a key role in shaping greenfield projects, building modern data pipelines, and driving engineering best practice.

This is an Senior Data Engineer opportunity would be perfect for a self-motivated engineer, who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working with modern data technologies whilst working on products which are helping thousands of people across the UK.
Key Responsibilities for Senior Data Engineer:
- Design and build scalable streaming data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Develop and optimise data models for analytics and machine learning workloads.
- Manage and optimise ClickHouse and MySQL databases.
- Build and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure within AWS.

To be considered for this Senior Data Engineer position you will need to have experience working with PySpark, Databricks and AWS. If you have experience with Kafka then this is a bonus.
The salary for this position is up to £70,000. You will also benefit from a generous bonus of up to 20% and 29 days holiday. The role is 3 days per week working out of the Bristol office.
