Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake / Azure / Fabric) – Contract – Edinburgh / Hybrid x 2 roles available
Evolve IT is supporting a leading investment management organisation in their search for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing Data Engineering function on a contract basis. Working within a modern cloud data environment, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising data pipelines and data products that support reporting, analytics, and wider business decision-making.
The Role
You'll be responsible for: Designing and developing scalable data pipelines and data products Working across Snowflake, Azure, dbt, and Microsoft Fabric Supporting data integration, transformation, and modelling activities Driving automation, testing, monitoring, and data quality improvements Collaborating with Data Analysts, Architects, and Platform teams on key delivery initiatives Providing technical leadership across more complex data engineering workstreams

About You
We're keen to speak with contractors who have strong experience across: Snowflake Microsoft Azure dbt Microsoft Fabric ETL/ELT pipeline development Data modelling and transformation CI/CD and automation practices Experience with Alteryx and/or Oracle databases would be advantageous.
