We are seeking a Senior Data & Insight Analyst to lead data initiatives, deliver high-impact reporting solutions, and provide actionable insights that support operational performance, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.
Role Overview
The Senior Data & Insight Analyst plays a key role in managing data and analytics projects from concept through implementation. This position works closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements, develop reporting solutions, ensure data quality, and deliver meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Extract, transform, analyze, and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools.
- Apply statistical techniques and data modeling methodologies to identify trends and opportunities.
- Produce customized reports for both internal stakeholders and external reporting requirements.
Project Leadership & Solution Delivery
- Lead data and reporting projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Evaluate existing processes and challenge traditional approaches to identify improvements.
- Present recommendations and solution options to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with organizational objectives.

Data Governance & Quality Management
- Monitor and maintain data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Support data governance initiatives and promote best practices in data management.
- Ensure compliance with information governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and improve reporting standards, methodologies, and documentation processes.
Reporting & Visualization
- Design and develop reports using business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Create meaningful visualizations that effectively communicate insights and performance metrics.
- Support the development and enhancement of dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting.
- Deliver data storytelling that helps stakeholders understand complex information and make informed decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and operational teams.
- Support stakeholders by providing data-driven recommendations and analytical expertise.
- Communicate technical concepts and complex analytical findings in a clear and accessible manner.
- Collaborate across departments to improve reporting capabilities and business outcomes.
Survey & Insight Management
- Support the design, implementation, and analysis of organizational surveys.
- Interpret survey results and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop insight reports that support strategic planning and operational improvement initiatives.
Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues and junior team members.
- Share technical expertise and best practices across the data and analytics function.
- Contribute to the development of team capabilities and continuous learning initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting roles.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Deep understanding of relational database structures and data architecture.
- Extensive experience working with large and diverse datasets from multiple sources.
- Advanced T-SQL and database querying skills.
- Strong experience developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX and data modeling within Power BI.
- Ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting colleagues and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within higher education, regulated industries, or complex organizational environments.
- Knowledge of Python for advanced analytics and automation.
- Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and information security frameworks.
- Experience supporting strategic decision-making through advanced analytics.
