About The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Data Insights Executive to join our central Data & Tech team. This role is a critical step up, designed for an experienced data professional who will act as a subject matter expert on our data operations and processes.

As a Senior Data Insights Executive, you will take ownership of data quality and process efficiency. You will be responsible for handling complex data configurations, troubleshooting challenging issues and driving improvements across our data ecosystem. You will have a deep understanding of our proprietary data platform (IBEX) and business intelligence (BI) tools, serving as a key point of contact and support for junior team members and the wider agency.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for problem-solving and a proven ability to enhance data workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Data Operations & Governance

  • Manage complex configurations within our campaign tracking documents to meet bespoke campaign requirements.
  • Act as a steward for data governance, actively monitoring and enforcing consistent naming conventions and reporting formats across all campaigns.
  • Confidently write and adapt a wide range of formulas and scripts as needed to support data management and reporting tasks.
  • Ensure campaigns are created promptly on our proprietary platform, proactively following up with stakeholders to gather any missing information.

Process Improvement & Troubleshooting

  • Proactively identify process pain points and inefficiencies, recommending and implementing robust improvements to enhance our data workflows.
  • Investigate and resolve complex and less obvious data issues, demonstrating a deep understanding of their root cause and how key metrics are calculated.
  • Utilise our admin interface to support data management and troubleshooting tasks.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our core analytics applications (Benchmark Index, Performance Analyser, Deliverables Calculator), supporting the wider team with queries and issues.
  • Confidently navigate our BI tool, independently building complex queries and customising dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Identify and implement improvements to our internal applications to enhance functionality and user experience.

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Act as a key support figure and escalation point for junior members of the team, providing guidance on complex tasks and sharing your knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with all relevant teams to ensure action points are resolved in a timely manner and data processes run smoothly.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in a data operations, data management, or a similar data-focused role.
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets), including a strong command of complex formulas and data manipulation.
  • A sharp analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • A proactive and process-driven individual who is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Confident and clear communicator, able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Metabase, Tableau, Power BI) and building custom reports and dashboards.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, reliability, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
