Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to work closely with key strategic customers to govern, integrate, and maximise the value of drilling and wells data. In this role, you will ensure drilling data is accurate, accessible, and effectively managed to support operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.
You will play a key role in driving data quality, integration, and governance while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including drilling, subsurface, IT, and external partners. As a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies to help optimise data management processes, improve decision-making, and support continuous business improvement.
Duties
- Conduct data and workflow mapping to support business processes, system integration, and data management initiatives.
- Design and implement drilling database schemas that effectively meet business, operational, and reporting requirements.
- Analyse data to identify inconsistencies, quality issues, and gaps that may impact data transfer, integration, or ingestion processes.
- Evaluate, document, and communicate schema changes, enhancements, and refinements to support evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain procedures, standards, and best practices for effective data handling, governance, and management.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Skills and Requirements
- Manage the governance, integration, transformation, and migration of drilling and wells data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Strong understanding of drilling and wells workflows, associated business processes, and end-to-end data flows.
- Experience with industry-recognised well planning, engineering, and reporting systems, such as Landmark, Oliasoft, and WellView.
- Exposure to and engagement with industry standards organisations and data standards initiatives, including Energistics, OSDU, and PPDM.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and domain specialists, translating complex concepts, requirements, and business needs into practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality outcomes.
- Persistent, proactive, and naturally curious, with a commitment to continuous learning and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, using initiative to drive tasks and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Qualifications
- 10 years relevant experience
- Degree Level in relevant technical or domain subject
