Senior Data Scientist
As a Senior Data Scientist at Lunio, you will help build new capabilities that expand our value proposition and create innovative ways for customers to understand, detect, and act on ad waste.
At This Intersection
You will work at the convergence of data science, AI, and product development. Your role involves:
- Identifying opportunities to extend our core wasteful traffic prevention product
- Rapidly prototyping new capabilities
- Collaborating closely with Engineering and Product to transition promising concepts into production-ready solutions
The role emphasizes 0-to-1 innovation, including:
- Developing AI systems
- Leveraging LLMs
- Implementing advanced machine learning techniques to drive meaningful value
Key Responsibilities
Research & Development (R&D)
- Lead discovery and development of new capabilities that expand Lunio’s core product and enhance customer value.
- Take workflows from early prototyping to production-ready MVP.
Experimentation & Experimentation
- Convert customer and product needs into clear hypotheses, experiments, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
- Refine solutions iteratively as they evolve.

✔ Production-grade ML systems architecture—ability to conceive, deploy, and administer advanced models at scale with proven results.
✔ Technical depth in:
- Python and SQL
- Cloud-based deployment and data processing (scaling modern, large-scale datasets)
✔ Hands-on expertise with LLM-based systems and **applied AI workflows—**e.g., RAG, agentic architectures, and GPT acceleration.
✔ Systems thinking + product awareness—balancing scalability, reliability, and interpretability.
✔ Pragmatism—taking measured technical risks to maximize business value.
Ideal Experience
- AWS deep expertise (particularly SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3, and Redshift).
- MLOps fluency—evaluation methodologies, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and iterative improvements.
- Industry-specific knowledge of AdTech, Media, or fraud detection.
