Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer
Paying between £90-110k base + 15% guaranteed bonus Hybrid in Central London – 4 days per week Top 1% PE firm globally
I’m working with a leading global Private-equity firm to hire a Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer into a high-impact AI team embedded within the investment function. This is a rare opportunity to apply cutting-edge AI to real commercial problems across deal and investment sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio value creation.

The role Build and apply LLM-based solutions to analyse large, complex, unstructured datasets Develop new AI-driven use cases to support investment decisions Take ideas from concept → prototype → production Improve existing LLMs and ML models used in deal sourcing and due diligence Work closely with investors and engineers to deliver commercially meaningful insights
What they’re looking for Strong Python expertise across data science and AI/ML Experience working with LLMs and modern AI tooling in a real-world setting Commercial mindset – able to connect technical work to business impact Comfortable working with senior, non-technical stakeholders Background in finance, investment, or data-rich commercial environments is a nice to have
