Senior Data Scientist
Senior Data Scientist
A career at Booksy means you’re part of a global team focused on helping people around the world feel great about themselves, every day. From empowering entrepreneurs to build successful businesses, to supporting customers in arranging their “me time” moments, we’re in the business of helping people thrive.
Working in a fast-moving scale-up where priorities shift and not everything is perfectly defined is not for everyone. If you prefer rigid scope, narrow ownership, and purely research-focused roles, this likely is not your place. But if you enjoy defining problems properly, owning delivery end to end, and building data products that real customers use every day, you will feel right at home.
The people you’ll like to work with and the impact you’ll enjoy driving:
As a Senior Data Scientist, reporting to the Head of Data Science in our Data & Analytics team, your purpose will be to build and own machine learning powered features that directly improve our customer app and marketplace experience.
You will work on customer-facing problems such as search and ranking, recommendations, segmentation, lifecycle modelling including activation, churn, and reactivation, lead scoring, and personalization. You will operate end to end, from shaping ambiguous product ideas into clearly defined problems, through modelling and experimentation, to deploying and monitoring production systems.
You will take real ownership. That may mean contributing to data pipelines, partnering closely with engineers on real-time systems, and ensuring models are robust, scalable, and measurable against business KPIs such as conversion, retention, and revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
