Senior Data Scientist
London (Hybrid) | Up to £95,000 plus bonus

Backed by a global group, they are investing heavily in advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities. Their AI team is expanding, with multiple initiatives already live and more in development. You will be joining a collaborative environment where data, engineering, and product teams work closely to deliver production-ready solutions.

You will act as a Senior Data Scientist with a strong engineering focus, owning end-to-end delivery of AI solutions in a production environment.
- Lead the design, build, and deployment of machine learning and AI applications
- Take ownership of key initiatives from concept through to production and business adoption
- Develop solutions including AI assistants, recommendation systems, summarisation tools, and underwriting models
- Work across Python, SQL, cloud platforms, APIs, and modern MLOps practices
- Build and deploy solutions using LLM frameworks, RAG architectures, and agent-based systems
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions
- Contribute to best practices in governance, monitoring, and responsible AI deployment
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience delivering machine learning or AI solutions in production environments
- Expertise in Python and SQL for data analysis, modelling, and deployment
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP, and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and deployment best practices
- Exposure to generative AI, LLMs, or retrieval augmented generation is valuable
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
