Senior Data Scientist – Energy & Utilities
Contract

Fully Home Based UK Wide
3 month rolling
£500/day Inside IR35
We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong Energy & Utilities experience to join a customer analytics programme, working on projects that drive commercial and operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing analytical and machine learning solutions within the Energy & Utilities sector, principally in customer strategy use cases, such as churn prevention, debt management and credit risk assessment.

Key Requirements
- Senior Data Scientist with strong commercial experience.
- Proven background within the Energy & Utilities sector.
- Experience in design and build of predictive models and ML solutions for customer churn, debt collection, credit risk assessment.
- Strong statistical modelling and machine learning skills (Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
- Proficient in Python and SQL, preferably Databricks environment.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical insights to business audiences.
- Comfortable working closely with clients to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
