We’re looking for a Senior Data Test Analysts to join our Core Data Engineering team within our Group Data & AI Office and help ensure the quality, accuracy and integrity of data across a modern enterprise data platform. You’ll play a key role in testing data as it moves through Bronze, Silver and Gold layers, supporting trusted reporting, analytics, APIs and business decision-making.

About the team

You’ll be part of a collaborative Core Data Engineering team made up of Data Engineers, Data Test Analysts, QA professionals and Data Modellers. Together, the team ingests, transforms and validates data from multiple sources, including pensions, protection and third-party systems.

About the role

This is a great opportunity to work on a strategic data platform where high-quality data is essential. You’ll validate data ingestion, test business rules and data quality controls, and ensure transformed data remains accurate and aligned to source systems as it moves through the data lifecycle.

  • Validate data ingestion from multiple source systems and perform reconciliation checks on raw data.
  • Test data quality controls, business rules and validations across the data platform.
  • Check transformations across Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers to ensure outputs are accurate and reliable.
  • Validate mapping from source systems into the Enterprise Data Model.
  • Test data used for Power BI reporting, API integrations and downstream systems.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases and results documentation.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Modellers, Project Managers, Project Testers and wider delivery teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
