  • Getting involved with new business pitches for DC Consultancy work
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market practice, legislation and DC governance requirements
  • Leading and supporting on projects, including master trust / GPP reviews and selection exercises, advising on the buy-out and wind-up of pension arrangements, and overseeing AVC reviews
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, supporting them with ongoing governance via regular meetings, working collaboratively with all stakeholders, focussing on improving member outcomes
  • Working alongside and guiding investment colleagues to provide tailored advice for your clients, taking into account the client’s specific membership, as well as their circumstances and preferences
  • Drafting advice to a standard that you are happy to sign off
  • Getting involved with DC research on master trust / GPP providers, keeping up to date with their evolving propositions and support the research output that feeds into advice to clients
  • Working within a team environment, providing leadership and guidance to others

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
