The Team

The London Market Delegated Authority Team is part of the London Market Underwriting Standards and Governance Team and supports Underwriters in delegating underwriting authority.

Reporting to the Head of Delegated Authority, the team balances compliance and business needs to minimise regulatory and reputational risks. We facilitate new business relationships and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements by staying updated on regulatory changes. Our team values meeting deadlines, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining strong communications with stakeholders.

The Role

This is a 12-month contract to provide Maternity Leave cover for the existing Senior DA Analyst.

The role would suit an experienced DA Analyst, ready to take the next step in their career. The purpose of the role is to support the smooth and effective running of the DA Processes at Hiscox. This includes overseeing and supporting the DA Analyst and DA Technician in fulfilling their duties, assisting with query resolution, monitoring all aspects of workflow, (including pre and post bind activities), approving contract endorsements, actioning Post Approval changes, reviewing DCOM entries and conducting quarterly deep dive DA Controls reviews.

The role requires a deep understanding of Lloyd’s regulatory framework and Delegated Authority processes, combined with analytical skills and the ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
