The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager. This role works within the Major Programme Team who deliver major contracts, projects, and programmes on behalf of His Majesty's Coastguard (HMCG). HM Coastguard has responsibility for the six internationally recognized functions of, Maritime Search and Rescue, Pollution Response, Vessel Traffic Monitoring, Maritime Safety, Maritime Security and Accident and Disaster Response.
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of effective and efficient Project and Programme management processes. Leading on projects to ensure successful delivery on time, to budget and delivering the anticipated benefits.

Top Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of projects and programme workstreams through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Developing and managing project plans, requirements, documentation, and governance approvals.
- Producing and maintaining business cases to support project delivery and decision-making.
- Managing procurement activity and supplier contracts to achieve project outcomes.
- Overseeing supplier performance and delivery against agreed milestones, budgets, and objectives.

About You
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:
- Experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects/programmes.
- Experience of large projects/programmes
- Experience of working with external advisors supporting service delivery projects.
- Ability to manage and work in a team to deliver results.
- Experience of managing a service delivery contract.
