Job Description: Delivery Principal

Our Delivery Principals will be accountable for the overall successful delivery within an account and responsible, as part of a cross-functional team, for driving account growth. You will play a key role in:

  • Managing successful outcomes and driving delivery in the Private or Public Sector
  • Driving application modernisation and digital transformation using cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
  • Delivering applications, services, products, or platforms
  • Ensuring appropriate governance, standards, and quality metrics are applied and adhered to throughout project delivery
  • Providing an overview view of large/complex delivery teams within multi-supplier engagements
  • Communicating and negotiating effectively and credibly with our clients
  • Driving presales and business development to expand an existing business, including written bid responses and formal presentations
  • Applying user research and design disciplines within solution delivery
  • Motivating and empowering teams to create an inclusive and positive culture, aligned with Version 1 Core Values

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Delivery Leadership: Accountable for high-value account delivery success.
  • Tech-Driven Transformation: Expertise in cloud-driven digital transformation (Azure, AWS).
  • End-to-End Delivery: Ownership of applications, services, products, or platforms.
  • Governance & Quality: Enforces best practices, standards, and measurable metrics.
  • Multi-Supplier Leadership: Manages complex multi-teamer engagements.
  • Client-Facing Roles: Credible business communication and negotiation.
  • Business Growth: Active in sales enablement, bid_response, and deal expansion.
  • Human-Centric Innovation: Integrates user research & design into solutions.
  • Team Culture: Creates a VS1 Core Values-aligned environment.

Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Strategic Delivery Accountability: Significant experience driving outcomes in Private/Public Sector environments.
  • Cloud Modernisation: Hands-on experience in complex application modernisation & digital transformation (Azure/AWS).
  • Delivery Expertise: Proven capability in delivering applications/services/products/platforms (3/4 areas preferred).
  • Leadership of Teams: Success in managing large/complex, multi-supplier delivery teams.
  • Business & Tech Acumen: Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and negotiation confidence.
  • Presales & BD: Significant bid-response & formal presentation experience.
  • Design Discipline: Expertise in applying user research and design to solutions.
