Senior Delivery Manager
Senior Delivery Manager – VorBoss
Who Are Vorboss
VorBoss is building London’s next-generation business fibre network—something we take incredibly seriously. Reliable fibre internet is as vital as electricity, water, or heat for businesses, and we’re determined to redefine London’s fibre infrastructure—and beyond.
Our reputation hinges on engineering excellence and uncompromising customer service, trusted by leading UK and European enterprises across technology, pharmaceuticals, finance, and e-commerce.
We pride ourselves on earning the best reputation in our industry, and we’ll do everything to uphold it as we grow. Our team is a tight-knit group of highly skilled professionals who trust in responsibility, collaboration, and collective success.
We’re recruiting talented, ambitious people to help shape this exciting chapter of VorBoss’s journey. Our vision: “The best job someone ever had”—regardless of duration. We commit to fostering an environment of respect, trust, and support.
Who We Are for the Future
Originally focused on building London’s largest fibre network, we’re now expanding to offer full-spectrum IT and cybersecurity services—connectivity, managed IT, cyber protection—so businesses have a single trusted partner.
Role Overview
As we tackle larger, more complex projects (from critical customer installations to full data/network fit-outs in major office refurbishments), we need a Senior Delivery Manager—someone who can own end-to-end delivery of our most challenging work.
This isn’t a generalist role. It’s for the person we confidently trust with the toughest assignments:
- Multi-tenant buildings with complex access.
- Big projects where we’re subcontracting to a main contractor on a live construction schedule—VorBoss delivery must align seamlessly with tradespersons delivering in measured spaces.
You’ll be the senior face of VorBoss—leading with customers, landlords, building managers, and main contractors. Reporting to the Director of Connectivity Operations, you’ll collaborate closely with Build, Service Delivery, SHEQ, and our commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Delivery of Complex Orders
- Lead end-to-end delivery of VorBoss’s most intricate customer orders:
- Equipment hires
- Tall-building installations
- Challenging multi-tenant environments
- Any activity requiring bespoke coordination.
- Develop and maintain practical delivery plans—not theoretical timelines—accounting for contractor logistics, splicing teams, and access constraints.
- Be the single point of accountability for these orders until handover completion, ensuring accurate system updates and data integrity.
Construction Programme Delivery
- Drive VorBoss’s delivery when subcontracted to a main contractor on office fit-outs/refurbishments (covering network cabling and data solutions).
- Work to the main contractor’s project timeline, attend progress meetings, and keep VorBoss works aligned alongside other tradespersons.
- Own risk escalation relating to construction compliance (e.g., CDM 2015, permits), supported by SHEQ and Build teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Represent VorBoss professionally to customers, landlords, building managers, and main contractors.
- Balance construction and telecommunications expectations, ensuring transparency, actionable decisions, and clear updates.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Integrate Build, Service Delivery, SHEQ, Logistics, and commercial teams to deliver all project components.
- Consolidate projects into VorBoss’s live forecasts, tracking when services will go live.
- Manage equipment hire, access bookings, and contractor assignments—ensuring nothing derails the plan.
The Right Candidate
(Note: This list may not include every skill, and passions outside these are welcome!)
Essential Qualifications
- Extensive project/ programme management experience—management of complex technical infrastructure when things went wrong (and subsequent recovery).
- Strong grasp of fibre and telecoms delivery, whether from a supplier or client-side perspective (e.g., commissioned fibre projects and understanding dependencies).
- Experience collaborating with construction programmes, working alongside main contractors or multi-trade projects on live sites.
- Confident presentation and leadership—running challenging stakeholder meetings, representing VorBoss when dynamics escalate.
- Sharp planning and prioritisation—balancing multiple concurrent projects, staying realistic about timelines.
- Written clarity—Project reports that are short, actionable, and actually read.
