Senior Dental Receptionist - Bexleyheath, Part-time (3.5 days per week, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and alternate Saturdays)

We are seeking a Senior Dental Receptionist professional to lead the reception experience at our Bexleyheath practice - someone who brings warmth, structure, and a steady leadership presence to the heart of the patient journey.
This role is ideal for an experienced front-of-house professional who takes pride in service excellence, diary discipline, and supporting both patients and colleagues in a premium private practice environment.

You will:
- Create a warm, calm, and professional welcome for every patient.
- Lead from the front, supporting colleagues with daily reception tasks and standards.
- Manage patient flow throughout the day, ensuring appointments run smoothly and on time.
- Own diary discipline, zoning, booking structure, and proactive utilisation.
- Handle patient calls, messages, and enquiries with clarity and empathy.
- Coordinate closely with clinicians, Treatment Coordinators, and the Practice Manager.
- Manage payments, deposits, compliance checks, and day-end accuracy.
- Oversee recall activity, open courses of treatment, and patient pipeline progress.
- Maintain exceptional presentation and calm across reception and waiting areas.
- Support patient feedback, reviews, and resolution of minor concerns.

Essential
- Warm, professional communicator with a steady, reassuring presence.
- Strong organisational skills and consistency in daily routines.
- Confidence in taking ownership of workflow, diary quality, and patient flow.
- Ability to mentor colleagues and support a positive team culture.
- Comfortable working under pressure during busy clinical schedules.
- Good IT confidence & ability.
Desirable
- Background in dental or healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with treatment planning, ethical communication, and patient journey management.
- Experience in dental, healthcare, hospitality, or premium reception environments.
- Familiarity supporting Treatment Coordinators with patient clarity and next-step conversations.
