Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop - delivering essential infrastructure services in a safety-first, customer-focused environment.

We are now looking for a Senior Network Design Engineer to join our growing Network Services engineering team, supporting the delivery of secure, resilient network solutions across Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) projects, mainly within the Nuclear space.

This is a hands-on Network Design role working across a major greenfield programme, where you’ll take ownership of network designs and support delivery into live operational environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) for LAN, WAN, WLAN and NAC (Network Access Points) solutions
  • Design secure network architectures including segmentation, Zero Trust and firewall policies
  • Support WAN design including DIA, MPLS and resilient network architectures
  • Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and gain technical design sign-off
  • Provide technical support through delivery, installation and commissioning / testing phases
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, standards and diagrams
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement within the team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
