Senior Design Engineer - Airframe & Structures

ARCA is supporting an aerospace programme to bring in Senior Design Engineers on a contract basis.

These are hands-on roles within an established design team, working across airframe structures on a live programme.

The work:

  • Design and development of airframe primary structures
  • CAD modelling and drawing release using CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE (3Dx)
  • Working closely with stress, manufacturing and wider engineering teams to resolve design challenges
  • Contributing to design reviews and supporting progression through the design lifecycle

  • Strong experience across primary airframe structures
  • Strong composite design experience including use of composite work bench is mandatory
  • Confident user of CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE (3Dx)
  • Experience operating at design check / approval level is a strong advantage

  • Contract: 6 months initially – Outside IR35
  • Location: Bristol with hybrid working
