Senior Design Engineer - UI / Front End

Tech-for-Good SaaS platform

Amersham – Hybrid
£60 – 65k + Benefits

We're looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary product team with an incredible “tech for good” business in an exciting period of growth and expansion. This is a hybrid role, you’ll need to be in the office in Amersham at least 3 days a week.

The Job

This is a design-led, individual-contributor role: you'll design interfaces in Figma and bring them to life by building them in code. Design is the heart of the role - you'll shape how our product looks, feels and delights users - with the front-end skills to take your own work all the way to production and keep design and code in step.

  • You'll partner closely with our UX designer, work alongside developers, Business Analysts and QA, creating and implementing new design systems & screens for our platform that helps thousands of families year in year out.
  • Brand application is also critical here you’ll work closely with and take direction from the brand team to ensure our web design system faithfully reflects the look, feel and ethos of the brand.
  • It's a senior craft role focused on hands-on design and delivery – rather than line management – but you will be expected to mentor a junior front-end developer and designer.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
