The Senior Design Manager, Regulation, Audit & Governance plays a key role within the Legal, Governance & Operational Excellence directorate, supporting the implementation and continual improvement of building safety, fire safety, and regulatory compliance framework. Working closely with and reporting to the Architect & Senior Manager – Regulation, Audit & Governance, the role ensures that building safety requirements are effectively interpreted, communicated, and embedded across the mobile telecommunications infrastructure portfolio.

Why this role matters;

The Building Safety Act 2022 and wider regulatory landscape are transforming how infrastructure is designed, deployed, and managed. By combining technical expertise, regulatory understanding, and stakeholder engagement, the role supports both compliance and operational excellence.

What you’ll be here to do;

  • Assist in assessing how building safety and regulatory requirements apply to mobile infrastructure projects, particularly rooftop and complex sites
  • Develop and maintain guidance, policies, standards, process maps, and regulatory documentation
  • Ensure documentation is practical, auditable, regulator-ready, and aligned with industry best practice
  • Coordinate input from stakeholders, suppliers, and subject matter experts to develop effective compliance frameworks
  • Provide technical support on the interaction between mobile infrastructure and host buildings, including structural, fire safety, access, and building services considerations
  • Support design reviews, risk assessments, governance activities, and compliance assurance processes
  • Communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver training, workshops, and communications to support adoption of new requirements
  • Support engagement with industry bodies, regulators, and external partners where required
  • Monitor emerging legislation, guidance, and industry developments to drive continuous improvement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
