Senior Design Verification Engineer
AI Hardware Startup – Verification Engineer
We’re a well-funded AI hardware startup building a next-generation compute platform that delivers breakthrough efficiency and performance in AI inference.
Now building our Verification team from the ground up, we’re seeking Verification Engineers who thrive in fast-moving environments, collaborate with architects and bring-up teams, and push beyond traditional verification boundaries.
This role is ideal for engineers who want to shape—not just execute—verification, with direct influence over architecture, methodology, and tooling.
About the Role
- Join early during a formative stage of product development, where greenfield approaches are key to success
- Work on cutting-edge AI hardware, bridging gaps between architecture, software, and verification
- Play an active role beyond device verification, elevating into scalability, automation, and tooling
What You’ll Work On
- Writing and refining verification environments for complex ASIC/processor subsystems
- Designing scalable testbenches with modern software tooling and practices
- Implementing Python/C++ models, reference architectures, and tooling solutions
- Planning coverage-driven verification strategies and debugging at system level
- Partnering with architects to influence microarchitecture decisions
- Developing automation flows for traceability, CI/CD, and overall verification productivity

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
