Senior Designer
Director of Design (UX/UI & Creative Leadership) – AtkinsRéalis

About the Role
You’ll be a creative leader, guiding project direction, inspiring the team, and championing design-driven innovation. Your role blends leadership, strategy, and hands-on creative guidance across print, events, web, virtual reality, 3D, and motion—working alongside an environment of highly motivated creatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creative direction: Lead and elevate project teams’ approaches while fostering a design-led ethos.
- Resource allocation: Oversee cross-disciplinary teams to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Client engagement: Act as the face of design expertise to clients, championing clarity and value.
- Project review: Scrutinise requisitions and briefs to guarantee superior outcomes.
- Stronghold opportunities: Actively shape future workloads by identifying client needs and growth areas.
- Agile adaptability: Swiftly assess and implement strategies to align with shifting project demands.

About You
- Creative passion: Sparkle with expertise in both design and digital technology, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Large-scale experience: Have thrived in cross-disciplinary, complex projects at scale.
- Adobe mastery: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite—especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop—frequtently.
- UX/UI depth: Rival executives—understand user behaviour, focus testing, and seamless design architectures.
- Keen eye: Exemplify strong layout and typography sensibilities.
- Under pressure: Can navigate ambiguity, meet demands while ensuring consistency and creativity.
- Agile mindset: Experience with Agile workflows and iterative design processes.
- Critical thinker: Richards pattern recognition, unconventional problem-solving and a balanced focus—able to master multi-tasking and deep focus.
