Senior Designer
Central London | Full-time | 12 Month Maternity Cover
Curated Search is exclusively partnering with a highly regarded luxury design studio to appoint an exceptional Senior Designer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative business renowned for designing bespoke uniform collections for some of the world's leading luxury hotels, hospitality brands, and premium retailers.
Working closely with the Founder and senior leadership team, you will lead the creative development of multi-product collections, translating client briefs into innovative, commercially successful designs while mentoring a Junior Designer.
The Opportunity
Working within a founder-led luxury atelier, you'll enjoy genuine creative influence, direct exposure to decision-making, and the opportunity to shape collections for globally recognised luxury brands. The role also offers regular international travel, supporting client presentations, fittings, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of bespoke womenswear, menswear, and accessories.
- Translate client briefs into innovative concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Research client heritage and market trends to create commercially relevant collections.
- Source fabrics, trims, and materials, balancing creativity with commercial viability.
- Present concepts confidently to luxury clients and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development, Commercial, and Pattern Cutting teams.
- Manage design critical paths and deliver projects to deadline.
- Mentor a Junior Designer and contribute to the continued growth of the design team.

About You
You'll be an experienced Senior Designer with a background in luxury or premium fashion and a strong understanding of tailoring, garment construction, and fabric sourcing.
You'll also bring:
- Experience designing across multiple product categories.
- Excellent CAD, illustration, and presentation skills.
- Confidence presenting to high-profile clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to design to budget.
- Exceptional organisation, communication, and project management skills.
- A collaborative approach and experience supporting or mentoring junior designers.

Salary & Benefits
- £45,000 – £55,000, depending on experience.
- 12-month maternity cover with the potential for a permanent opportunity.
