Senior Power Platform Developer
Altrad are currently looking for a Senior Power Platform Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop and support enterprise business applications and system integrations using Microsoft Power Platform, SQL and Azure technologies. You will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable and high-performing solutions that automate business processes and integrate with core enterprise systems, while providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
Key Deliverables
- Design, develop, test and support business applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Build maintainable Canvas Apps using well-structured and reusable Power Fx.
- Develop Model-Driven Apps and Microsoft Dataverse solutions where appropriate.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable and supportable technical solutions.
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, custom connectors and Azure Logic Apps.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, views and stored procedures across SQL Server, Azure SQL and Dataverse environments.
- Design reliable transactional processes with robust validation, logging, error handling, retry mechanisms and auditability.
- Deploy solutions across development, test and production environments using structured release processes.
- Utilise Power Platform solutions, source control and Azure DevOps to support application lifecycle management.
- Review technical designs and development work completed by other team members, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practice.
- Establish reusable development patterns, coding standards and technical governance.
- Mentor and support junior developers and graduates, providing practical technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications, workflows, databases, APIs and integrated systems.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of development practices, platform governance and solution quality.
- Ensure applications are designed with security, maintainability, performance and operational support in mind.

Key Requirements
- Demonstrable commercial experience developing production applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong experience developing Canvas Apps and writing efficient Power Fx.
- Strong SQL development skills with experience of SQL Server and/or Azure SQL, including relational database design and data modelling.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, JSON, Azure Logic Apps and related technologies.
- Experience designing and supporting transactional applications with robust validation, logging and error handling.
- Experience managing Power Platform environments, solutions and structured deployment processes.
- Experience using source control, release management processes and supporting production applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience reviewing technical designs and mentoring or supporting other developers.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience developing Model-Driven Apps and Microsoft Dataverse solutions.
- Knowledge of custom connectors and webhooks.
- Experience with Power Platform Pipelines and/or Azure DevOps deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Service Bus or Event Grid.
- Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities and Microsoft Entra application registrations.
- Understanding of Power Platform governance and environment strategy.
- Experience integrating with Dynamics 365, Business Central or other ERP, Finance, HR or operational systems.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks.
