We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Development Specialist (Equities Post Trade IT).
You will perform software creation, coding, and delivery coordination of projects with an overall IT industry experience in a role covering project delivery, UAT and stakeholders’ co-ordination and product upgrade management. You will be part of Market Operations–Equities Post Trade IT team, within MSS (Markets & Securities Services), wherein the person will work as Devops Engineer in an IC (Individual Contributor) role.

In this role you’ll:
- Technical Design, Implementation, Automation & Maintenance of Equities Settlement Platform.
- Functional knowledge of Equities lifecycle and specifically Back Office settlement.
- Active participation and contribution in discussions for design and process improvements.
- Automation of testing, delivery, and monitoring processes.
- Ensuring system’s compliance to the constantly changing cybersecurity standards by ensuring timely improvements and upgrades of the systems.
- Build, release, deployment, configuration management and Production Support of production systems.
- Business enhancements or requirements coordination around the back-office processing of Cash Equities.
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across the platform and application domains.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions/policies, internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group’s standards of ethical behaviour.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Must have worked on an Equities settlement platform for Back Office functionality of Cash Equities Trading.
- Experience with SYN platform/product and strong experience developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) using Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX scripting.
- Automation skills and experience with system monitoring tools e.g. Grafana or other equivalent tools.
- Good working experience with DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence etc.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with Business and stakeholders’ coordination.
