We are partnering with a global asset management firm to transform how software is built, tested and deployed across its application estate.
This is not a traditional infrastructure-focused DevOps role. We're looking for a DevOps engineer with a strong C#/.NET engineering background who understands how enterprise applications are built, tested and released, and can design first-class CI/CD pipelines around them.
You'll join a small, highly skilled engineering team responsible for creating standardised delivery pipelines that will be adopted across dozens of application teams. Working closely with developers, you'll improve build quality, deployment consistency and developer experience while helping modernise the organisation's software delivery practices.
Responsibilities
- Design reusable GitHub Actions workflows for.NET applications.
- Build standard CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, security scanning, packaging and deployment.
- Migrate Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions.
- Design deployment strategies supporting both Kubernetes and Windows Server/IIS environments.
- Improve build performance, reliability and developer experience across multiple engineering teams.
- Integrate quality gates including SonarQube, dependency scanning and security tooling.
- Support Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep where required.
- Work closely with C# engineering teams to improve build automation and release processes.
- Document engineering standards and support teams adopting the new platform.
- Champion modern DevOps and software engineering best practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
