Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

📍 London | Hybrid (1 day per week)
💰 £90,000–£120,000

We're partnering with a high-performance technology company that builds mission-critical, cloud-native platforms used at significant scale. They're looking for a Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to help evolve their platform, improve automation, and support highly available production systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role with plenty of variety. You'll work across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, security, and platform reliability, collaborating closely with software engineers to build scalable, resilient systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor production systems and continuously improve reliability, performance, and observability.
  • Strengthen security through effective secrets management and access controls.
  • Investigate production incidents and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to optimise platform architecture and deployment processes.
  • Mentor engineers and help shape infrastructure best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
