Senior DevOps Engineer
About DV Group
Founded 20 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 600 people, operating across North America, Europe, and Asia. Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm, utilising its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Today, DV group affiliates include two broker-dealers, a cryptocurrency market-making firm, and a growing investment advisory.
Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a small yet high-impact team responsible for building and operating the infrastructure that underpins DV’s trading systems.
You’ll play a key role in developing and managing Kubernetes at scale, contributing to a firm-wide observability platform, designing CI/CD infrastructure, and orchestrating workflows.
This is a young, self-built platform—the team constructed it entirely from the ground up in 2025 and now owns it end-to-end. You’ll have direct ownership from day one, shaping its evolution as the platform scales to meet growing demand across the firm. Expect hands-on challenges and real decision-making power.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
