A high-performing trading technology team requires a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance global derivatives trading environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise end-to-end trading workflows, driving stability and resilience
- Troubleshoot production issues across development, infrastructure, and business users
- Support algorithmic trading systems in regulated environments
- Drive continuous improvements across DevOps processes and technical debt
- Manage incident response for critical trading systems
- Collaborate with global teams and participate in on-call rotations

Must-Have Skills
- 8–10+ years in Commodity Trading / Capital Markets or Investment Banking
- Strong understanding of derivatives trading lifecycle and global futures exchanges
- Proven DevOps experience with application deployment and production support
- Expertise in FIX protocol engineering and exchange/vendor certification
- Strong programming: Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL
- Experience with market data platforms and real-time data distribution (RTDS, feeds, multicast)
- Knowledge of EMS/OMS platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, TT, TradingScreen)
- Strong experience debugging TCP, multicast, and messaging systems

Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of kdb, Shakti, or time-series analytics platforms
- Experience with algorithmic trading regulation (RTS6, compliance, audit)
- Vendor and third-party network integration experience
